For more than 100 years, Girl Scouting has helped girls develop positive values and become active, responsible leaders in their communities. With our emphasis on leadership, citizenship and service to others, Girl Scouting is poised to fulfill our mission of building girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.

Our membership is open to all girls grades K5-12, and to adults, both women and men, who subscribe to the Girl Scout Promise and Law. Girls are grouped by age to ensure that activities are age-appropriate.

Girl Scout Daisies (Grade K5-1)

Girl Scout Daisies meet in groups of five to 10 with two or more adult leaders in a nurturing, inclusive environment. They go on trips, learn about nature and science, and explore the arts and their communities. Girl Scout Daisies can also earn Journey Awards and receive participation patches.

Girl Scout Brownies (Grade 2-3)

Friendship, fun, and age-appropriate activities begin at the Girl Scout Brownie meeting and move out to the community and wider world. Girl Scout Brownies work together in groups, earn Girl Scout Brownie Badges, and explore their community.

What Brownies Learn

Learn about the earth, people of the world, space, food and sports. Girl Scout Brownies also earn Brownie Badges. Girls enjoy working with other girls, building lasting friendships, singing songs, playing games and camping.
